If you've ever taken a ride on a cold rainy day, you know, it's not long before you have lost most of your body heat and you're wet and freezing and just miserable. But with heated clothing it does not have to be that way.

Back in 1975 Gerbing was busy creating aircraft parts for the military. Many of their workers rode motorcycles in the cold working, so Gerbing decided he would design, they warm by holding them would keep a flexible heating wire through the clothes designing. And so Gerbing heated clothes came to be.

That's not too bad.

Although from the battery to the clothing this method directly very difficult to regulate the temperature hook can so adding a thermostat is a good option. It allows you to regulate the temperature and keep you comfortable whether you whip at a light or sitting down the road.

Motorcycle Protective cloth that works!

How to choose protective cloth that works?? Here it is...

There are some great looking motorcycle clothing on the market these days, but believe me, not all motorcycle clothing offers as much protection as you think. Clothing in Europe, for motorcycle clothing lawfully as "security" sold; it has to pass a series of European standards, which are quite lengthy, but on my website. The standards cover the performance of the clothing in abrasion, tearing and impact tests, and if they have undergone; they are sold with the CE mark. However, such a scheme in the USA is available, so what you should be?

Protection in the right places...

Not many people know that most motorcycle accidents occur below the belt. Your legs and feet are extremely vulnerable, so make sure you wear a decent pair of high boots and some protective pants. The pants should be reinforced at the knees and hips; ideally they should attach to your jacket with a zipper. Boots should be thick leather, with a sole that can flex with the foot but has a compressive strength over the foot.

Traditional material for motorcycle clothing is leather, but thick nylon and other synthetic materials work well. Kevlar reinforced jeans are better than normal jeans .Normal jeans last 0.6 seconds in the European standard abrasion test, while protective motorcycle pants will last 5 seconds or longer. You do not really open within less than half a second of falling of the bike right to be ripping skin? Thought not.

Same principles apply to jackets. Make sure they are resistant when made of leather, whether it is thick leather not fashion leather like some jackets. Seam should be uniform with no dropped stitches, and all of your "sharp bits", your elbows and shoulders should be reinforced, contain ideally with some impact protection.

A decent pair of gloves is a must; your palms are implicated in danger in an accident; You instinctively put his hands palm in order to stop a slide show, so that the palms gloves should be reinforced with patches. Knitted Kevlar is especially good for this type of abrasion resistance, but reinforced leather works well too.

Impact protection can be separated as back protectors to buy and so on, but remember where you are most vulnerable areas. And make sure if you buy impact protection actually wears! If you have any doubts, it may be better for motorcycle clothing with a certain impact protection included so you know, when you put on your jacket and pants, the protection will be going there forever.

Last but not least, look for a helmet you can wear and wear it always. You have a greater chance of getting injured below the waist in a motorcycle accident, but the consequences of simply unthinkable involved in an accident without a helmet....

So, the next time you are shopping for motorcycle clothing, give a little thought to offer the level of protection, before you buy it. You never know, it could save you a lot of unnecessary pain!
